where have all the good people gone?

oh my lord.
the frightening things happening in the news today.
thoughts and prayers to all the families affected by these horrible tragedies.

the grocery store that was attacked by a gunman earlier today, is mere blocks away from my little sisters apartment at the University of Arizona. i would think the government would be more in tune with scouring social media sites for threats that pose a risk; which the shooting suspect clearly displayed.

preventative measures could have been taken, i think...? just so thankful kate was home safe in milwaukee - this one hits a little to close to my loved ones.

the 15 headless bodies, found in acapulco - what on earth? so heartbreaking. almost 30,000 people have been a victim of drug related killings in mexico over the last 4 years.

literally proof that watching the news or reading cnn is bad for your health. watching the "craig's list killer" on Lifetime probably isn't helping my cause.

moral of the story: don't take anything for granted. say "i love you" more. be aware and cautious. pray for those in need.
