Keeping Some Room.

I'm posting this from my phone right now. To be honest lugging my laptop into bed just seemed far too laborious. I had the greatest weekend at home with Adam and one of my MOHs, my sister, Emme. It was a big weekend and it left me drained. It's amazing how many emotions one can go through in 48 hours. This weekend is one I will never forget. It was so special to see Adam get so excited for our big day. The cake tasting and filet might have had something to do with it, but it was the sweetest thing ever. I brought my dress back with me to Rochester and he nearly shrieked, "Am I going to see it?!? NO!!!! I can't see it!" I reassured him it was safely covered in two garment bags. I keep imagining seeing one another for the first time and I get goosebumps (and cry). I could not be more excited to call this man my husband in a little over three months. He is truly one of a kind, so loyal, so sweet, and so good at bringing me back to earth. Sometimes I need to be ground

face paint.

Just a little paint I'm currently wearing on my face. I recommend the Nars Suede Lip Pencil, a million times over, in Hyde Park. It's the most gorgeous red/berry color. I also just started using Benefit's Erase Paste. This creamy concealer has a peach undertone that really does erase the blueish tones from under my eyes. I am addicted to cult classics Nars Laguna and Orgasm and I can't live without a good highlighting and contouring palette.

Monday: Deals & Steals at Kohl's

There is little I find more thrilling then a good deal. Today at lunch I ventured out to look for new workout clothes and shoes, and was sucked into the clothes department at Kohl's. For those of you that are sticking up your noses right now, might I remind you that Lauren Conrad, one of the best dressed ladies on earth (in my opinion) designs for them. I also might be biased at how fantastic it is because my best friend works there, and the company has strong Wisconsin roots; however, you can't deny the three items I snagged (for under $100) are adorable! I love these pieces because they are so versatile. I can wear each to work and from day to night. I go through black blazers like there is now tomorrow. Ann Taylor, J.Crew, Gap, Rachel Roy, Zara - they are all in my closet, but the polka dot sleeves on this jacket were too cute not to pass up. I can't wait to pair it with a denim shirt and glitzy necklace for work or with a striped top for running weekend erran

Tassels: A. Macy Hall

Photo via A. Macy Hall  I'm not sure if you guys know this about me, but I'm willing to admit it freely: I love tassels. Stop it, your mind went there, not those kind of tassels. I love tassels on my neck, my wrists, my scarfs, and anywhere else appropriate. After a sweet like on Instagram I tapped on Amanda Macy Cheek Hall's Instagram to frankly stalk all her adorable photos, and with a name like that she's a gal after my own heart. Here is where I go on a tagent about names : I can't wait to be Molly McKerihan Dixon Grimm. I really don't want to give up my middle name of McKerihan. When I was little I thought it was so weird and cursed my parents for giving a name I couldn't spell until 5th grade, but now it holds a place close to my heart. If the future husband let's me I'd love to name our daughter McKerihan, I think it would be adorable. Back to tassels. On Amanda's Instagram she had the prettiest picture of a tassel neckl

Happy Wednesday!

My goal is to try and update here at least three times a week. Sorry folks! Work, life, and oh...THAT WEDDING OF MINE are getting in the way. My six bridesmaids and I are off to Vegas the first weekend in April to celebrate me becoming a Mrs. Tickets are booked and my sweet father got us rooms at the Cosmopolitan (my favorite hotel)! I can't wait - and don't worry - it's not going to be your typical bachelorette party. I want sunning by the pool, lots of champagne, and nothing cheesy. Techno - no thanks! Chandelier Bar - count me in! This week I featured in the Post Bulletin, our local newspaper , talking about spring trends. I sound 100% snarky. Sorry, I'm not sorry PURPLE ORCHID AND CROP TOPS AND MILEY. Above are just a few things on my wish list right now! I'm off to Pilates Barre class! Happy Wednesday!

noonday collection: change the world

I was introduced to Noonday Collection a little over a week ago, by Kari, she is part of the fantastic duo that will be shooting my wedding (only four months lads and ladies!). After traveling for work and a crazy week I can't wait to share this fantastic company - and mission - with you. How brilliant is this statement? Empower less fortunate with meaningful work while creating a transparent shopping experience & change the world. It's always rewarding to give back. I remember getting a little ping of butterflies in my tummy when I purchased my first pair of Toms, because I knew that some child in a less fortunate situation would soon have {comfy} shoes on his or her tiny toes. Please like Kari's page on Facebook ! This infographic put's the mission of Noonday into perspective: Some of my favorite pieces!

Lash Lash Baby.

When I hear about a product that someone else can't live without I immediately jump on the bandwagon. Especially when it costs less than $3. After reading  Kirbie's rave reviews about Jordana Mascara, I picked up three tubes - one for Kelsey, Claire, and myself. Claire and I loved it, but we both have naturally super curly lashes. Kelsey said it made her lashes stick straight out - bummer. This is one of those products that I will keep buying over, and over, and over again!  I love this video! Can you say amazing lashes!  Get it here ! Jordana Mascara, $3 I've read and read and READ, what seems endlessly, about Jordana. The $3 "Miracle in a Tube." People raved about how it enhanced their lashes better than anything else they'd ever tried, and all you had to do was hop on over to the drugstore to pick it up. For some reason, I could not find it at all in Los Angeles, and had read I'd need to order it from the UK, so that made me wan
