I got to spend this weekend with some of my favorite people in the world. My family and my two best friends - LJ and Kaela. We were all back in Milwaukee celebrating the wedding of one of our oldest friends Steph! It was a beautiful night: peonies, champagne, dancing, and a room full of so much love. Kathryn (my youngest sister) has an amazing best friend - Hannah (pictured above - she's blonde - kate's brunette) both are such style mavens and such amazing friends to one another. Bi-Coastal BFF relationships are hard to swing but they seem to be in sync almost all the time. Little sister style obsessed. Aren't they beautiful?

Ad not getting mad at me when I spilled my nail polish remover on the carpet Two Butterfingers for $1.50 Buying new shampoo, face wash, nail polish, and dry shampoo Trying to buy OCD vitamin D pills and realizing I would have to take 10 a day to match my prescription The late night mac n' cheese pizza I had on Friday Free drink tickets Ad covering my ears in the middle of the night so I didn't have to listen the neighbors do the boom boom Finding a knock-off pair of amazing shoes for half-price Not getting a manicure for three weeks - that $75 saved! Getting my Xtreme Lashes touched up for $31  $31 going to breast cancer research Lunching with my parents at my favorite place to eat Buzzard Billy's Going on a double date to see the "Social Network" My parents bringing...

Service is everything. Especially when you can go from one store to another on the same block and find the exact same bracelet, watch, purse or pair of shoes...etc... In La Crosse there are about seven different jewelry stores within a 5 block radius (if not smaller). They all advertise engagement rings, how great their service is, and the expertise that their employees have in fine jewelry or helping you find the perfect ring. They can boast about service all they want, but I know which store I'll continue to go back to. I recently had links taken out of my new watch. I've never had any other jewelry store touch my (nice) watches except for the one my aunt and uncle own in Whitefish Bay. Well, I am three hours away and had little choice if I wanted to wear my new piece of ice, so I stopped into a store that I know my company works with. They were polite and the owner was very down to earth - he said the type of watch I had was really difficult to size-down and apolog...

One of my ASU bff's and now resident New Yorker running wild and free around Manhattan scored a killer gig with Magnes Sisters. They make beautiful purses: everyday, affordable, and insanely chic. At their vendor show this month Andrea snapped some pics of her sporting some of their new collection. I'm having her send me the camel fringe bag as soon as I get my next paycheck. Ahhh. The perks of having generous friends with generous employers. I love that they are doing boho chic (which will never go out of style in my closet) along with a CoCo inspired chain strap purse. They can all be dressed up or down - gahhh I'm drooling on my laptop at this point. And as usual Andrea looks beautiful and now I really miss her and hope she has a Vogue shoot to work on soon so I can help her peruse for accessories via our ever entwined BlackBerrys.
