Monogram Necklace Hello Happiness! I've wanted one of these necklaces for so long! My dad's side of the family owns a jewelry store and they just got them in! After my mom overheard me telling my aunt and uncle that I was going to stop in and order one - she said she is going to get me one for Christmas! I just e-mailed my order in today and am so excited to layer this with my sideways cross (which is currently broken) and my diamonds by the yard! Ohhhh the little things! I'm a child of the 90's. I wore bicycle shorts under jean shorts. I wore Bonne Bell. I grew up on scrunchies and lunchables. Boy Bands and Ace of Base were the music of my choice and "Boy Meets World" was my daily dose of pure teenage romance. The list  10 things 90s kids will have to explain to their children  is a pretty accurate representation of how I grew up. For the Beanie Babies that still inhabit a random corner in a closet at my parent's house: "Incredibly depressing women in Indiana covered in cats and glass figurines they buy at The Hallmark Store used to troll the web 1.0 to invest thousands of dollars in tiny stuffed animals filled with plastic beans. That happened. Beanie Babies were not just significant, they were the first example most of us had of envy, greed, and wrath. My boyfriend's younger sister giggled at them and told me I would never wear them - and she's probably right - but I think they would be fun with an all black (and conservative) outfit.  Not so budget friendly - these  Alexander McQueen  booties. They are luxe without shoving "I'm a label whore" in the faces of your friends.  The perfect riding boot for  under $200! Because why not?

This will be my 25th Thanksgiving. As I've gotten older the best part of the holidays have been the 'lengthy' breaks from work. Remember when you would get a month off from college for Winter Break...oh the luxury. This year I'm thankful for so many things. My wonderful family.                (i love you to the moon and back: mom, dad, emme and kate.) My amazing beau. My loyal friends. A cardiac surgeon at Ohio State University. An amazing job. My health. My happiness. My iPhone. Having a roof over my head, a down comforter on my bed, and a boy I love sleeping next to me. Hadley, Lily, and Griffin. Margaritas, Pinot Grigio, and Rolling Rock. Rachel Zoe, The Real Housewives of anything...The Bravo network in general. Adele. Taylor Swift. I'm so blessed it feels silly sometimes. I've never gone a night without a warm bed to sleep in, I've never gone hungry, I've never not been provided for or been unable to provide

My verdict: Best dressed (minus J. Hud - something about the proportions if way off). I think Julie Bowen stole the show. That striped, sequin mini is the dress of my dreams. I loved watching Selena and Taylor rocking out together in front row! So amazing seeing them rapping all of the words to Nickie Minaj and Drake. Do you think their stylists chatted before showtime to make sure their looks worked together? What were your favorite looks?

via the love possessionista I have my greedy little eye on one of these  Sarah Chloe  signet rings. Dan, the Possessionista, enspires me to break the bank on a daily basis. Fortunately for those who give me Christmas presents this is an affordable option. Hint - I want the rose gold. I love the idea of a signet ring, my sister Emme has worn one for years, they are the perfect ode to prep. My mom and dad each have signet rings too (they don't wear theirs...duh), but I can't really say no to anything with a monogram!

I'm the girliest of girls when it comes to makeup and products. I can literally impluse purchase 4 lipglosses and not think twice about it. However, I do have a few tried and true products that you will never find me without. Dior Show mascara being and a rich creamy brown eyeliner (brand doesn't matter here!). I do must of my purchasing from  Sephora  - like Nars, TanTowel, Marc Jacobs perfume, and all my Time Balm products! You can't really go wrong.

I'm very. very. very. obsessed with chevron. My iPhone case is monogrammed chevron and literally every time I step into a store I seem to find this pattern sneaking up on me. Next on my agenda: is covering our bedroom chair in chevron!
