Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, especially for fashion's sake. Riding boots, ballet flats, faux fur, and new trends. I'm currently obsessing over Royal blue. I also happened to pull a fantastic blue blazer for the annual Style on the Plaza fashion show that is tomorrow, on the Peach Plaza in downtown Rochester. I work directly with the fashion show director Nood and help her style the models and do the last look before they hit the runway. It's one of the best events in Rochester all year, and really showcases how fantastic our downtown merchants are. You might notice a handsome face on the runway and in the  look book ! Yesterday I had a day full of meetings. I don't think my brain turned off work mode until about 7:00 last night. However, the peek you get of my new royal blue blazer {above - shameless selfie} totally made up for an insanely busy day. I think life is more fun when one is dressed colorfully, no? 

Laskers blinged us out! Lora and I had so much fun! Style on the Plaza was a huge success last night! I acted as associate stylist under the direction of Nood Reynolds. It was amazing! Rochester, Minnesota's socialICE is approaching fast and furiously! I've been thinking about what I will wear to this event, I've been helping with for a few months! I want to make sure I'm warm,but obviously still stylish.  A long, black, down coat might not be the most style savvy choice, but when you're in the Mid-west and it's negative 10 degrees with a windchill of below 35 you will be glad you're wrapped delicately in this bundle of joy. It's a a great investment piece.  To make this ensemble cute, take a cue from me, and find a cute hat. How amazing is that slouchy Missoni number, I might have to click buy, just for this occasion!  I can picture it now: flushed cheeks, sparking eyes, my brunette curls bouncing, and that amazing hat! I'm a lover of all things fashion. When I heard that Rochester, MN had their very own STYLE Week I just about flipped. When I heard they needed volunteers I was all over it like a fur vest on Rachel Zoe. To kick things off I decided to frolic into all of the Downtown Rochester stores that are participating and snap some pictures of my favorite pieces that have in stock for Fall. My first stop Hers located in University Square! Hers has a great array of styles. Think trendy career woman and chic mom on the go. The prices are affordable and the styles extremely wearable. I especially loved this beautiful necklace. It came with matching earrings and retailed for just under $50. I hope you'll join us for STYLE Week!
