Boot Up.

I adore Miranda Kerr. Her style is, as I'm sure you've heard a million times, effortless. One of my favorite looks for fall is a slight cuffed jean and booties. Whether flat or with a stacked heel it's so easy to pull together. Throw on a white tee, Vince makes my favorite, a classic blazer, a fun scarf and boots! Dolce Vita makes some great affordable options. The DV by Dolce Vita Cassidy boots are on my MUST HAVE list!  I love mine and they are so comfy. If you're looking for chic and incredibly affordable jeans Old Navy  is having a MAJOR sale through tomorrow. I absolutely love their Rockstar Jeans - and they have some pretty adorable tops and blazers on sale!  Some other favorite booties below!  JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. what i'm wearing: weekend easy

The easiest weekend basics come from what I already have in my closet. Since we moved into the new house it's been nonstop between decorating, moving out of the old one and balancing work and weekend commitments, I've been all sorts of crazy. On a typical weekend the above would be my go to look. This weekend it was a denim shirt and soft pants from T.J. Maxx (MSRP $60, got them for $19.99 - woo hoo)! My sister and mom came to visit this weekend and Emme insisted we go to T.J Maxx so she could pick up the same pair (nerd)! You can see the pants on my Instagram -  @McKerihan . A simple white blouse , a statement necklace {this can take the look from day to night}, a pair of ripped jeans { Old Navy's Rock Star's have been amazing for me}, a classic tote , an timeless watch and a pair of sandals that will never go out of style. My classic and preppy roots always take me back to Tory Burch .

you need it: leopard vest

I don't think I can live without t his vest  from Banana Republic. And her collection of arm ornaments is fantastic. #wishlist (oh and it's only $130!)

{for the boys} easy.

While dressing myself is where I have the most fun, I love it when Adam asks me for advice on his wardrobe. Sometimes I give him a big fat "OH NO NO NO", but recently he has really impressed me with his fashion choices. On the left is an exact representation of this style outside of The Mayo Clinic {where he is suit and tie man, or in scrubs}. He recently joined Trunk Club  and I was so thrilled with the choices {his gorgeous} stylist picked for him! It was a great investment for him, especially for shirts that can be worn in regular rotation. The outfit on the right is also pretty close to what he would wear on date night, or for a nicer dinner; however, I don't think I could ever get him to put on those Cole Haans. I've seen them on guys around Rochester and I think they look so sleek! When helping your man get dressed remember to keep it simple, a nice watch, a pair of dark - clean cut jeans, a simple and trendy watch, and practical and fun shoes are all reall...

{unique} updates

I have several pieces from IKEA from my college days. I've held onto a dresser, large chair, and giant ottoman. The dresser has seen better days, and after graduation the fabrics on my furniture are past their warm welcome. After seeing a friend like this post on Facebook {thanks Chelsea} I had to share. My recent posts about "interior design" have thrown me into uncharted territory, but as we watch parts of our home come together. {FYI: I ignore the basement and 3rd for loft as part of our living space, and am concentrating on the living room and dining room, since we spend most of our time here.} I consider myself very in tune with trends, fashion, and all hip trends on the interwebs - this one - I missed. via I beg of you to read this article if you have IKEA furniture that is waiting for a new life. If you're like me spending $1,500 on a chair feels ostentatious at this point in my life.

{socialICE}

Meet me downtown at the Peace Plaza from 4:30 - 9:00 pm!!!!! Last night was so fun!

{the in crowd} socialICE

I'm all about activities. Going out for drink with friends, sifting through an antique store, finding the fun in life's big mysteries. I've been working with a wonderful group of ladies my age, to put together PR and Marketing for socialICE. This event is going to be huge, and if you are in the Rochester, Minnesota vicinity I strongly suggest you check it out. STYLE Week Spotlight: EYE-Q

Stud. STUDLY.  First, let me apologize for the grainy picture above. It's via my iPhone from Glamour Magazine. That being said, I know you are all rolling those beautiful eyes of yours, really Molly? A boy? Another one? Can you stop drooling for five seconds? Second, I know this boy and he's the perfect segue into the satorical  scrumptiousness you will see below. His name is Sam, and well he's my BFF Cait's, Boyfriend's, Little Brother (get it?).  He looks so handsome in glasses, and while I've always thought a pair would make me look hideous I was quite surprised to learn I have the perfect face for them.  Tammy, from EYE-Q Intelligent Eyewear , told me my eyes are the equivalent of a perfect rack - they fill out everything. Tammy and her beautiful store, EYE-Q  are everything fabulous and fashionable! Bright, inviting and stylish I might just need a new pair of frames each week.  Tammy showed me some of t...
