GO MOLLY! GO MOLLY!

I'm guessing one of the last things you wan't to see is a close up of my hand. But I just wanted to share that I've made a huge change in my weekly routine, one that I said I would make when I moved out and got a big girl job, it took me about three months to do this - and I'm so proud.

I GAVE UP MY WEEKLY MANICURE!

The nails above I painted by myself - and in turn I have an extra $100+ of spending (saving) money a month. Yes - I was paying $20 a week + tip to fix my need to have perfect fingers. Guess what? A chipped nail won't ruin your day (but ew I will never subscribe to this so called 'trend' of chipped nail polish looking cute).

My therapist once told me that I need to do more for myself. Take that time out to do what made me happy. I  guess I picked manicures. While now I can have perfect fingers at my own discretion - practice does make perfect.

So tonight...drinks on me (just kidding) - but I did just buy a classy 18 rack of Coors Light. Did you forget I live in a college town? When in Rome do as the Romans do.

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick.
