Today I was having a horrible bad hair day. I thought dry shampoo might help (but it didn't). So between client meetings I popped on over to Target and picked up a Spin Pin. At first I didn't get how to use it, I thought it was supposed to be flexible and wrap around your bun or something. Not exactly...turns out you just roll your hair into a makeshift bun of your style - I like mine high and crisp or low and messy. Then you jab this little contraption in your hair and just twist it down. You do the same with the bottom of the bum. Each do the work of 120 bobbie pins or something ridiculous. But I love it! Saved my hair-catastrophe.
This is what the box says:
- Gather your hair at the nape of your neck (no ponytail holder needed).
- Twist your hair into a tight bun and tuck in the ends.
- Spin one pin in from the top and the other up from the base, taking care not to interlock pins.
