I love awards show fashions. Especially when stars aren't dressed in couture and are able to tone it down and be themselves. The perfect example of this is the MTV Movie Awards. Every year there are huge style epiphanies a'la Selena Gomez who looked age appropriate and beautiful.
Best dressed hands down: Selena Gomez, sans Biebshow.
I wish Kristen Stewart would have hidden he black strapless bra under her Balmain dress (I'm pretty sure that's what is peaking out), but you could tell she felt comfortable in her daring frock. Something I would have never worn, but kudos to her for keeping it real!
Reese still looks like a glowing newlywed. It's pretty hard to go wrong with a subtle tan, beachy waves, a simple silhouette with a fabulous print and nude pumps.
After her recent photo scandal Blake Lively kept it simple and covered in favor of her usual plunging neckline. I could do without the purple pumps. I know she loves her red soled footwear, but the purple suede reads dowdy and is reminiscent of Fall/Winter. I would have preferred something bright (maybe neon) to play up the blue of her dress.
I mean Leighton always gets it right. I'm loving her ombre locks, missing mine!
Then this happened.....
I get the shoes are $1,665 and that makes them...even more ridiculous. The fact that you're legs look like burnt sausages and you're being a label whore: Herve, Chanel, Louboutin (we already know you're loaded). Miss Bynes please hire Rachel Zoe or Monica Rose.
