Met Gala.

Met Gala.

BAM! Love this - long sleeves on a power color’ed slim column - very modern.

Love!

The Costume Institute Gala is about taking fashion risks. Above are some of my favorite ladies and their beautiful looks. Isabel Lucas takes the cake for going outside the box, and she looks stunning. And Gisele in that vintage red McQueen - WOW. Some other noteworthy favorites: Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Emma Stone, Blake Lively and Brooklyn Decker. Basically everyone on Pop Sugar. I mean WOW!

EW. You are not Blake.
And at any event there are always going to be some people that look completely ridiculous. Taking a fashion risk can go totally sour. Examples can be seen here. So so so awful!
Over the top: Model Shalom Harlow in Marchesa, Mad Men's Chrstina Hendricks and actress Christina Ricci in Zac Posen
I mean I just threw up.

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
