I have several pieces from IKEA from my college days. I've held onto a dresser, large chair, and giant ottoman. The dresser has seen better days, and after graduation the fabrics on my furniture are past their warm welcome. After seeing a friend like this post on Facebook {thanks Chelsea} I had to share. My recent posts about "interior design" have thrown me into uncharted territory, but as we watch parts of our home come together. {FYI: I ignore the basement and 3rd for loft as part of our living space, and am concentrating on the living room and dining room, since we spend most of our time here.} I consider myself very in tune with trends, fashion, and all hip trends on the interwebs - this one - I missed.
I beg of you to read this article if you have IKEA furniture that is waiting for a new life. If you're like me spending $1,500 on a chair feels ostentatious at this point in my life.
