Emmy Awards 2013

A lot happened at the Emmys last night. A few that are of some meaning to me: Breaking Bad got robbed {Last night's episode - I can't even. I held my breath for 30% of it.}, Aaron Paul's wife is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen {did you know they are only 25?}. They are so in love and as a sucker for love they are currently my favorite couple. I love the celebrity candids. I think a lot of the time we forget these are normal {just insanely good looking} people.

On to the fashion:

I thought that Connie Britton's dress was awful. I adore her in Nashville and just thought "No. No. No. No. CURTAINS!!!!!"

I would say the Huffington Post has a fairly accurate portrayal of the worst dressed celebrities. Again, poor Connie.

Per usual Us Weekly didn't totally nail it with the best dressed list! Who was your favorite? I thought Julia Louis-Dreyfus knocked it out of the park. I agree 100% with the Huffinton Posts picks, but Us Weekly overlapped and therefore and I can't trust whomever is their fashion 'guru'. Then again, opinion is simply opinion.

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
