Vegas Bound!

vegas: must haves

My little sister, Emme, called me a few weeks ago and said, "I told dad I needed a vacation, he said we could go to Vegas, and I can bring you!" I haven't been to Vegas for six years,  the last time I went I was a Sophomore at ASU and wasn't event 21 yet! I'm looking forward to spending a long weekend with my sister and dad, reading on my iPad by the pool, winning big at the slots (I'm not a huge gambler - it stresses me out), maybe seeing a show, and eating at some delicious restaurants. We are staying at the Cosmopolitan which I'm super excited about.

For clothing: I plan to live in maxi dresses, cute offs, my Ray-Bans, and my new fringe bikini for the weekend! For dinner I'll pull out a cute cocktail dress!

I think we will steer clear of the whole club scene, that calls for more of a girls trip, but I'd love your recommendations on what you love to do in Vegas!

Please leave me note! xo

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
