Home is where my heart is.

Family is everything to me in this world. My mom, my dad, and two sisters make everyday worth living. Which is why I'm so lucky to be marrying into a family that I adore to the moon and back. This weekend I ventured home to Milwaukee to celebrate the bridal shower of Megan one of Adam's cousins, and one of my favorite people in the world. She lives in Frankfurt with her soon to be husband, Alfred.

It was so nice to spend time with my parents and sister Emily. We had a particularly wonderful time brunching at Comet Cafe (so yummy if you're in Milwaukee). I haven't laughed that hard in a while. I spent the rest of the day at Meg's Irish bridal shower, complete with green Miller Lite! I gifted her a stunning pair of Roberto Coin earrings, that I'm a bit envious of. They each have a ruby on the back that brings your happiness, success, love, prosperity, and all things good!

We headed over to the County Clare the place to be to celebrate St. Patty's Day. I loved spending time with Adam's family and meeting some of my future relatives! On Sunday I shopped with my mom, I can't wait to show you what I picked up! LOFT and H&M have some idea pieces right now! Then we headed to Cafe Benelux (another must in Milwaukee) for a lunch and some good beers! It was great getting to know Megan's MOH Tayoi and her boyfriend.

I can't forget our trip to the Dog Hauss Friday. HELLO! Cheese fries!

I hope your weekend was a memorable one! a few pictures of our celebratory weekend!

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
