I was a bit heartbroken yesterday upon hearing the news of Steve Jobs passing. He was a visionary and ideal artistic talent that encompasses everything my generation stands for. I've grown up with him. I remember begging my dad for my first Mac my senior year of high school, spending $400 on my first iPhone and then being devastated when it was stolen from my Longchamp as a bar in Milwaukee. The iPad and how enthralled and obsessed I became. Even more desolate, the day of his passing came just after the release of the iPhone 4S (he was was watching over his Apple fantatics). Put on your black turtleneck, bow your head, and give thanks for a man that gave us many a product to write home about.

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning! xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. If you follow me on Instagram you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all!
