it's the meeping weekend.

work week

My new job allows me to wear jeans to work (nearly everyday). A major plus. I love being able to pull together chic and approachable looks that are simple and still professional enough for the office. My daily regime has included beachy curls, ballet flats, skinny jeans, a simple sweater or flow shirt, statement necklace and my trusty Tory Burch bag. For chilly days I thought on my army green coat and call it a morning. It's lovely not being limited to black pants and pencil skirts.

How do you update your work wear? My current go to: inexpensive statement necklaces. I popped into Charlotte Russe and grabbed three stunning pieces for $25.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Adam and I celebrated our Anniversary and had a very collegiate weekend by going to visit my youngest sister at the University of Minnesota (too.much.beer.).

Next weekend we're off to Milwaukee (I think!) and then I'm going on a major saving spree to make tripts to Arizona (Cori/Linds), New York (Andrea/Cait),  LA/San Diego (Kristen/Michi) and Flroida (Whit). Missing my best friends desperately. FYI you girls hold a special corner on my desk, Kodak Moment bonafide.

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
