now & then: fall vs. now

now&then.

I'm already dreaming about fall clothing. I love the look of bell bottoms anytime of the year. I've pretty much destroyed my J Brand LoveStory pair and need to invest in Rachel Zoe's Seven for all Man-Kind pair via Piperlime. The great part about this outfit is really you can wear the summer pieces through fall and winter with some additional pieces. Throw on a wool cropped jacket to make the orange shell cold weather worthy, and pair the investment piece shoes with tights. I love the idea of a stacked and chunky wooden heel to keep your toes warm. Sneak in some comfy wool socks to keep your tooties warm, and shake up a classic cable-knit with a gold necklace. You can't really go wrong with a leopard belt - especially if it's pony hair. I've taken to wearing mine (it's very similar to the one above - but a lighter tan) with everything. It looks amazing with stripes! How amazing would a striped blazer look over that tank top? The possibilities are endless. As you'll see below the prices featured can be a bit budget busting, but the good news in they are classics and should be easy to find at all price points!

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
