For a good long while, Forever 21 did not speak to me. My shopping trips into their big box fashion megastores were cut short by: long lines, zit ridden faces, slutty attire, and all around gross-outed-ness. I found the store to be trashy - trying to hard to compensate cheap fabric with witty design. This often equates to horrible embellishing or a tasteless pattern on a striking silhouette. They head designers didn't get it through their heads - that simple always wins. Forever21 kicks some serious ass in their jewelry and accessories department, which can easily ad flare to a solid navy dress - or simple silk tunic. Then came along Love 21 and I feel complete again. I most likely will buy all the pieces - I seemed to do this during summer. They are cheap, on point style wise, and the fabric feels luxe compared to the other 'departments' of the mega brand.

The pieces I've selected are super simple and can be worked into my (and YOURS!) wardrobe super easily. With BCBG highwaisted pants for day and Joe Jeans slip on skinny jeans for an easy after work look.

DELISH!

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
