Karen Kane: Inspiration

Drooling. That's what this Karen Kane Moto Jacket left me doing. I've taken some outfit photos {truth: soon to be revealed - this kind of thing takes a bit of teeth pulling on my end - it terrifies me to be judged}. When I received a box full of goodies from Karen Kane I couldn't have felt more special. I told my mom who proceeded to say, "Ohhhh! Your grandma loves Karen Kane!!! " I love my grandma, but our sense of style has a sixty year age gap. The point of this: Karen Kane caters to all ages, and in my opinion has really modernized their brand. Printed pants, high necked maxi dresses, and chic tops in modern cuts were all on my radar. I can't wait to share these pieces with you over the next couple of weeks {saying it here holds me accountable - no more being shy}! Outside of my blog post, this moto jacket has been getting a ton of wear, it's a perfect jacket to throw on when I'm heading out the door. It goes with everything and stripes make any day better, and any outfit more enviable!

It even made it out for my friend Steph's bachelorette party in Chicago!

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning! xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. If you follow me on Instagram you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all!
