These shoes are the perfect mix of romance, fashion, and classic appeal that I'm looking for on my wedding day. Our colors are white + gray, so I think I'll have to opt for them in silver, but they are just perfect. At $625 they do have a heftier than usual price tag, but this is a once in a lifetime experience! Would you wear these on your wedding day? Or do you have a different shoe in mind? Please share! xo
The looks I'm loving from last night! Jennifer, Olivia, and Kerry!
I swear to you that Elizabeth, of  Unabashedly Uncorked , is going to make me go broke. I fall in love with most  all of the pieces she posts. My heart went all a flutter when this little gem popped up on my Tumblr feed. Pink + Red , billowy, blousy, fun, sexy, and an embellished neck = WINNER! Granted, it's a tad out of my price range at $194, but I will patiently wait until Adam feels like buying me a present or it's 50% off!  In it's entirety the whole outfit is pretty stellar. SIDE NOTE: pretty excited that ripped jean are on trend again! Break those bad boys out!  Tbags Los Angeles - $194
I will never give up my Beauty Blender. Adam recently threw one of mine away and I freaked out. "Don't you realize that little foam ball is like $20!??!!!" More importantly, my makeup just doesn't look as fresh if I don't use it. You'll notice in a lot of celebrity Instagram photos of them in the makeup chair include this hot pink sponge in the background.  You know that insanely perfect, velvety finish that all models seem to have on their skin? Well, more likely than not, their beautiful foundation is thanks to this little hot pink egg. This little sponge blends foundation like nobody's business, ensuring that you get even, perfect coverage with no creasing or caking (bonus points if you dampen the sponge first!). - via  Refinery29 Below Kim Kardashian's makeup artist uses it to give her skin a perfect glow!                              Erin Andrews loves the little pink miracle w...

{currently} coveting.

One of the bests parts of life are the simple pleasures. A kiss hello, a sweet wave goodbye, frozen yogurt - you know the good stuff, stuff that is nearly free. Then there are those things in life that we don't necessarily need, but know that it could make our day just a bit prettier. Lord knows I don't need another ring {my left hand is severely sparkly}, but this little gem from ShopBop would look o' so fine on my right hand. Next week we are getting in the brand spanking news NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I'm a huge fan of the brand and highly recommend it to all my clients. I'm curious to get my hands on it and try it for texture and coverage. Because I really don't need these {camo, hot pink, yellow, and polka dot pants currently being unworn}, but just think they are fun. Our JCP is getting a Joe Fresh and these just put a little spring in my step!

{buying in} rock star status.

Today was a first for me! I literally bought into all the hype that is the Old Navy Rock Star Jeans. Tip: I've read a lot of reviews on the fit of these jeans. Most suggest going up two sizes. I usually wear a six in dress pants, sometimes an eight if they are super slim, so it was terrifying to look at the size, but oh well! It's all about how they look and how you feel in them! Pros: They cost about 1/4 of my usual jeans. {My go to's: Seven for all Mankind. Else. Current/Elliott. Joes Jeans. J Brand.} The colors and stitching read very richly. {Almost identical to my Seven 'The Skinny' jean.} They come in colors and patterns. {A cute polka dot pair looked just like my Current/Elliott spotted pants from Anthro. - I think they retailed for $198!} Great with boots. and Perfect with flats for spring.  Cons: I'll let you know when I try them on!

{unique} updates

I have several pieces from IKEA from my college days. I've held onto a dresser, large chair, and giant ottoman. The dresser has seen better days, and after graduation the fabrics on my furniture are past their warm welcome. After seeing a friend like this post on Facebook {thanks Chelsea} I had to share. My recent posts about "interior design" have thrown me into uncharted territory, but as we watch parts of our home come together. {FYI: I ignore the basement and 3rd for loft as part of our living space, and am concentrating on the living room and dining room, since we spend most of our time here.} I consider myself very in tune with trends, fashion, and all hip trends on the interwebs - this one - I missed. via I beg of you to read this article if you have IKEA furniture that is waiting for a new life. If you're like me spending $1,500 on a chair feels ostentatious at this point in my life.

{happy in harmony} wallet + feet

Buying heels isn't something I do often. I'm on my feet way too much during the day to warrant wearing them, but for a nice dinner or drinks with the friends, it would be nice to have a pair I felt confident in. This goes back to my, I don't wear them enough to shell out $200 mentality. Enter a tried and true favorite in the frugal department: Forever 21 . Seriously, those first two pairs are straight out of Zara, but for under $30. Lucky you, all the shoes above cost LESS than $30! {Gold toe pair spotted on Elizabeth, of Unabashedly Uncorked . girl made these look straight out of J.Crew.} Now, let's be frank. These are not shoes you are going to hold onto for years, they might fall apart after 6 or 7 wears, they are trendy, not classics. It's not money well spent, but they will make your outfit everything you've dreamed of, without splurging.  Wallet and Feet happy in harmony! Gotta love it!

{classy} lady.

New year, New you? People still use that tagline, it just seems so archaic. I decided to make a decision, not because it's a new year, but because I recently have been craving stretching. My back literally wants to be arched into child's pose or warrior II all the time. I'm no yogi, but I have comitted to taking two yoga classes a week. If you know me, you know I'm so NOT a class person. The thought of it gives me tremedous anxiety and I feel as if everyone is waiting to watch me fail {truth: no one is watching me nor cares}. So this is a great way for me to tone up for the wedding {eeeks!} and do something that terrifies me! I'm one of those people that hates going to the gym looking like I'm going to the gym. Which is why I'm in awe of Free People's new yoga line. Stripes at the gym - count me in! Ruffles on my butt? A little much, but kind of in love with the idea! There is no excuse not to wear a headband, and we all know if you are...
