 I've yet to find another artist that speaks to me like  Inslee . I've been obsessed with her since last spring - when I almost (totally regretting) purchased a sketch from her to act as the logo for a project I was working on. I saw myself in a logo - past.present.future. self. It was me and it was so weird how I immediately was drawn to 'her' and Inslee was so sweet!  This isn't the first time you've heard me rave about this one of a kind artist and it won't be the last. I'm totally taking the plunge this year and ordering her holiday cards and a beautiful calendar. Also....I'm really hoping to have her make me some personalized stationary! How amazing....!? Enjoy!

Parker Dress Parker dresses are one of my favorites. I know I've blogged these beauties before, but I keep coming back to this olive color. I have the dress in white and due to rather unfortunate events - it now wears as a shirt. At $220 it's a bit of a big purchase for an everyday item of clothing, but it's so versatile. Over leggings, belted with jeans, tights, knee high boots and a faux fur vest. I think it's the perfect silhouette for strumming up something stunning.  How would you wear it? My way: Throw on my  over-the-knee boots ,  black tights ,   large link necklace .

Rory Beca Tibi I was a bit heartbroken yesterday upon hearing the news of Steve Jobs passing. He was a visionary and ideal artistic talent that encompasses everything my generation stands for. I've grown up with him. I remember begging my dad for my first Mac my senior year of high school, spending $400 on my first iPhone and then being devastated when it was stolen from my Longchamp as a bar in Milwaukee. The iPad and how enthralled and obsessed I became.  Even more desolate, the day of his passing came just after the release of the iPhone 4S (he was was watching over his Apple fantatics). My new job allows me to wear jeans to work (nearly everyday). A major plus. I love being able to pull together chic and approachable looks that are simple and still professional enough for the office. My daily regime has included beachy curls, ballet flats, skinny jeans, a simple sweater or flow shirt, statement necklace and my trusty Tory Burch bag. For chilly days I thought on my army green coat and call it a morning. It's lovely not being limited to black pants and pencil skirts. How do you update your work wear?
