Vegan Cheese. A new adventure:

My doctor has put me on a NO-DAIRY diet as we try and figure out my stomach complications. Food allergies are common, but are often ignored. This restriction was put on my diet last Monday - and was violated this weekend during the Super Bowl. Eating dairy free is no walk in the park. However, I'm learning that provided with the right tools eating dairy free can be "easy".

http://www.godairyfree.org is a wonderful resources if you're willing to pay your way to learn how to eat. I feel much less sluggish, but can feel myself wanting to go back to eating my favorite cheese laden foods. On the bright side - I should be able to see weight slide off and will feel less bloated on a regular basis. I've eaten semi-vegan before and I enjoy it! Tofu! Edamame! Fake cheese!

Yum!!!

Daiya looks like it's going to be a savior to me!

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
