I love when I get a press release that I actually enjoy. These stunning necklace and headband hybrids hit my inbox last night, courtsey of Summer Rej. Nothing tickles me more than a versatile piece I can wear everyday. Do I want to be boho chic today? Classic with a twist? Or rock goddess in training? I am dying to get my hands on one of these headbands, but holiday shopping (and that car thing...) has put a pretty little dent in my die hard fashion addict funds. Follow Dauphines on Twitter and check out their website! If you really LOVE me send one of these beautys my way!

Dauphines of New York luxury hair accessories: a collection of adjustable headbands that serve dual purpose - functioning as both headband and necklace.  Designs feature an adjustable band to allow for this interchangeable function, while also providing tailored comfort of fit.

Dauphines of New York debuted via a series of trunk shows at BERGDORF GOODMAN.  Trunk shows at HENRI BENDEL averaged sales of $1K-$1500 daily, with client base spanning ages 18-50.  Select styles are currently available on www.shopbop.com In addition, "Wild One" hair chopsticks by Dauphines are featured this month in ELLE Magazine's January 2011 Beauty "It List."
Currently, the brand holds an online presence via www.dauphinesofnewyork.com. Boutique stocklist is expanding, holding an exclusive mix of luxury retailers such as New York's Sucre and Kuwait's Melange boutique.

Hair jewelry will be a prominent trend this season, with decorative headbands increasingly ornamenting the hair of icons, models and celebrities.
A recent feature on Refinery 29 provides a great look at the brand:  http://www.refinery29.com/dauphines-of-new-york.php

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

Zo chic.

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
