lyfe. style.

And if you’re only around later that afternoon, I’ll be participating in an Internet Week panel called “Love 2.0,” moderated by my friend, Paul Carr.
Should be amusing, if nothing else.

I'm very big into lifestyle blogs. I like reading about what others are doing in various parts of the country: NYC, LA, SF, even the Lone Star state. However, recently I've been finding the ones I look at religiously to not be enough...go figure, I'm from the generation where I can't watch a move for 2.5 hours without wanting to claw my eyeballs out and drink a sugar free Red Bull.

I look to:

www.morethanmary.com
www.georgiegirl.com
www.ramshackleglam.com

for lifestyle...and for the fashion saavy I can't get enough of:

www.fashiontoast.com
www.becauseimaddicted.net

HOWEVER

www.nonsociety.com used to be my go to. I LOVED hearing what Julia, Mary, and Megan had to say. Now it's Julia, Katrina, Emily, Laura, TJ, a beauty blogger (?) who doesn't blog and Melissa. It's just overload. There isn't one person that is doing it RIGHT. Julia and Mary used to nail it every time, and Jordan Reid (bless her soul, probably one of my favorite blogger of all time) got it right to, now it's going to #$%^&. So, Julia...please FIX IT.

Florsheim Shoes {closed}

Thank you to all that entered and congrats to EMMA for winning!  xo You know when you first meet a handsome boy, in my case it was a bar, and everything about him is near perfect. His chiseled features, dark shiny hair, and stunning light blue eyes. Then you look down, and gasp, he's wearing sneakers. Not your run of the mill, fashion forward footwear, but we are talking Nike, Adidas, etc. running shoes. He's wearing them in a bar, with jeans, and a polo. If you're anything like me, the only times tennis shoes are acceptable are on the elliptical machine or running a half marathon. This boy turned out to be the love of my life, and with little resistance I was able to turn him into my fashionable sidekick. With a little help from  Florsheim  you can take your Valentine from sorry to sexy with a pair of shoes courtesy of this luxury brand. I've put together some inspirational looks for you. Just remember, you may not able to c...

caged in.

If you follow me on Instagram  you've seen these flats pop up numerous times. I own them in nude and red, and to be 100% transparent just purchased a replacement nude pair. While they aren't the gorgeous $900 Valentino Rockstud Cage Flats , I could care less, I bought them because I LOVE the style. I wish I could make myself spend $900 on shoes; however, at this point traveling, decorating my new home and investing in my future are more important. I can't have it all! Those of you with Rockstuds : Yes, I'm jealous. If you'd like the link to these shoes, they are so comfy, follow me on Instagram and send me a direct message -  @McKerihan . Please note: I know there are many that have very strong opinions about knockoffs. These shoes do not bare the Valentino tag, nor do they replicate the exact design. They are simply 'inspired by'. If you're wearing anything from Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, even lower priced brands from Nordstrom chances are your...
