BleackBlack blogger Kristin usually blows my mind - and she impressed me once again with these outrageous DIY's. She took J.crew shorts and made them - killer. I'm on a preppy spree, but ain't nothing wrong with a little rough-around-the-edges chic. (I'm hoping she provides us with some directions on how she did it soon!)

P.S. the moral of Kristin's post was - beautify your basics in your own personal proclamation of YOUR style.
