Happy Mother's Day to the best mommy I've ever known. For almost 25 years: you've kept me safe, told me I'm beautiful, given me the confidence to follow my dreams, supported my love of fashion, encouraged me to be active and a team player, worried about my well being. My favorite hugs come from my family: my mom, my dad and sisters (Emme and Kate). I'm so lucky and especially lucky to have such a kind hearted mom. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say an ill word about her. She sees the best in everyone, and if she thinks someone is mean or rude she's always 100% right. She is the best judge of character and the funniest person in the world when she is two glasses deep in red wine. She doesn't know how to text message, thank god, because I know some moms that abuse the privilege. She is honest when my outfits or hair look horrible and tells me way too often to rub in my blush.
My favorite words to hear her say are, "I love being your mom." And she says this every time we talk whether it be via e-mail or phone. I only hope I can raise my children with as much love as you raised us. You're so courageous, classy and have the biggest heart of anyone I know.
